Benissants Chapel


The current building is from 1613 with different alterations made since then, the most remarkable one from the nineteenth century when a house for the hermit was added. The kitchen of the house is in perfect condition with original tiles and the the typical utensils of this period, some original and other reproductions.

INTERIOR FEATURES:
Arches, beams, terrace / porch, fireplace, tiled floor. Traditional kitchen from the 19th century. Chimney covered with tiles from the 19th century with reproductions of musical instruments of the time.
EXTERIOR FEATURES
Arches, balconies, chimney, railings, trees, fountains / sculptures, gardens, windows. Others: Three ogival arches cover the entrance to the chapel with work benches on the sides. Exterior face brick stairs. A 360º viewpoint to the Albufera Natural Park. In its surroundings there is a flora microreserve. Trees: Pines, olive trees, carob trees...
