Ancient palace converted into an asylum and school for nuns for needy children in 1892. Next to the building, a chapel was built in the neo-Gothic style.
Chronicles of the period describe it in great detail: "There is the ground floor, with a spacious school with its bleachers for both sexes, entrance, reception room, patio, room for visits and a beautiful garden, where there is a beautiful grotto of the Virgin of Lourdes and a pond among leafy foliage".
In October 1971, the nuns left the centre and it closed. Today the palace functions as a senior or day centre.
