Castle Bailey

The lower enclosure or bailey of the castle of Cullera is a fortified space made up of a wall joined together through several towers, three of which are preserved today. It was originally used to offer refuge to the population of the farmhouses and the town next to the castle, now the current neighborhood of Pou and Santa Ana, which were included within the defensive system of the castle with the construction of a wall
